Ping Shan Tuition

Ping Shan Tuition

  • 2025-09-07

If you’re a first-time instructor teaching in Ping Shan , you might be unfamiliar with this area located between Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai. However, Ping Shan offers numerous transportation options, allowing you to easily reach it from Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, or other areas in the New Territories. Below are detailed transportation recommendations for different departure points to help you quickly find the best route.

🚆 MTR + Light Rail: The most stable and convenient combination

Ping Shan is adjacent to Tin Shui Wai Station on the MTR Tuen Ma Line . After exiting the station, you can take the Light Rail to Ping Shan Station .

The recommended routes are as follows:

  1. Take the MTR Tuen Ma Line (get on at Hung Hom, Mong Kok East, Tai Wai, Tsuen Wan West stations, etc.)
  2. Get off at Tin Shui Wai Station and transfer to the Light Rail
  3. Light Rail 705 or 706 : Both lines run between Tin Shui Wai and Yuen Long, and get off at Ping Shan Station
  4. Pingshan Station is within a 3-10 minute walk to most residential and educational locations.

📌 The Light Rail runs approximately every 5-8 minutes, making transfers convenient and fares affordable.

🚌 Kowloon Motor Bus/Citybus: Multiple routes go directly to Ping Shan

If you live far away or it is inconvenient to take the MTR, you can also choose a bus route that goes directly to Ping Shan or nearby locations.

Recommended bus routes:

  • KMB Bus 968 / 969 : Departs from Hong Kong Island (Wan Chai, Central, Causeway Bay, etc.), takes the Western Harbour Crossing to Yuen Long, then transfers to the Light Rail or a short walk.
  • KMB Bus 276 / 264M / 265B : departs from Fanling, Sheung Shui, Mei Foo, Kwai Fong, etc., and all pass through Yuen Long
  • KMB 53, 54, 64K: Passes through Kam Tin and Pat Heung. Some stations are within walking distance to Ping Shan.

📝 We recommend using Google Maps or the Citybus/KMB App to check real-time bus schedules and optimal stops.

🚖 Taxi or Uber (flexible, suitable for those in a hurry)

If you need to bring textbooks, a laptop, or encounter inclement weather, we recommend taking a taxi/Uber from Yuen Long Station or Tin Shui Wai Station directly to Ping Shan. The journey takes about 5–10 minutes and costs approximately HK$30–50.
