Shatin Town Centre Transport Guide for Tutors

MTR

Direct access via the MTR East Rail Line — Sha Tin Station is the nearest station to the town centre. Recommendations from major regions:

• From Kowloon Tong: take the East Rail Line towards Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau and arrive at Sha Tin Station in about 15 minutes.
• From Hung Hom or Mong Kok East: direct access to the East Rail Line without changing trains.
• From Tai Wai: just one stop to Sha Tin.
• From the Northern New Territories (such as Fanling and Sheung Shui): take the East Rail Line towards the city, about a 25–30 minute ride.
• Tip: after exiting the station, you can walk to various teaching locations in Shatin City Centre (such as City Hall, shopping malls, residential areas, etc.) via the New Town Plaza connecting bridge.
