MTR

The quickest way is to take the MTR: take the MTR Tung Chung Line or the Airport Express → arrive at Tsing Yi Station. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes to walk from Tsing Yi Station to the Esplanade — walk along Maritime Square and then take the pedestrian bridge; the route is clear and simple. Fast, stable and less affected by weather.

There are several green minibus services in Tsing Yi: some minibuses pass through Tsing Yi Station or the Tsing Yi Town Centre area. After getting off, walk to the Esplanade, which takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Minibuses run frequently, especially during peak hours, making them very convenient and fast.

Taxi

• You can take a red urban taxi from anywhere in Kowloon or the New Territories to get directly to the Esplanade.
• The journey from the city (such as Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui) takes approximately 15–25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
• Cost range: approximately HK$80–HK$150 (depending on starting point and traffic conditions).

Direct to the door, saving time and effort — suitable for carrying luggage or travelling with family.

Self-driving (private car)

• From Kowloon: take the Tsing Sha Highway → connect to the Cheung Tsing Tunnel → directly reach Tsing Yi.
• From Hong Kong Island: take the Western Harbour Crossing or the Hung Hom Harbour Crossing, then connect to the Cheung Tsing Tunnel to reach Tsing Yi.

The Esplanade provides parking for residents and visitors, making it convenient for those who drive.
