Butterfly Bay Transport Guide for Tutors

MTR

Butterfly Beach is close to Butterfly Stop on the Tuen Ma Line of the MTR and Tuen Mun Station. After exiting the station, you can transfer to the Light Rail or walk.

Departing from Hong Kong Island/Kowloon:

1. Take the MTR Tsuen Wan Line to Tsuen Wan Station.
2. Walk or connect to Tsuen Wan West Station.
3. Transfer to the Tuen Ma Line towards Tuen Mun.
4. Get off at Tuen Mun Station, transfer to Light Rail Line 614 or 615, and get off at Butterfly Station.
5. Exit the station and reach the teaching centre or residential tutoring location in the Butterfly Bay area.

Departing from New Territories East (such as Shatin, Tai Wai, Ma On Shan):

1. Take the Tuen Ma Line directly.
2. Transfer to the Light Rail at Tuen Mun Station and get off at Butterfly Station.

Butterfly Bay is covered by the Light Rail system, which offers flexible connections and numerous stations — the most convenient way to get around the area:

• Transfer to Light Rail Line 614 or 615 at Tuen Mun Station and get off at Butterfly Station to reach your destination.
• The Light Rail runs frequently, and most residential and educational centres in the area are within a 5-minute walk.

Taxi / Uber

If you need to arrive on time for your appointment, or are carrying large items like textbooks or laptops, consider taking a taxi or Uber directly to Butterfly Beach. Pick-up points are available at major landmarks in Tuen Mun, offering flexibility.
