Editorial and review policy
How TutorZone’s exam-practice content is produced, checked and corrected
This policy explains how the “exam practice” content on TutorZone (www.tutorzone.com.hk) is produced. Every mock paper, drill guide and framework page is written and fact-checked by the TutorZone teaching team to the standards below.
1. Sources are official documents
Exam frameworks, paper weightings, durations, mark distributions and assessment requirements are taken from the latest official documents – HKEAA assessment frameworks, IBO subject briefs, and Cambridge and College Board syllabuses – and the source links are listed in each article. Framework figures are never written from memory or second-hand summaries.
2. All questions are original
Mock paper questions are written by our teaching team to match official question types and marking criteria. Apart from clearly labelled public-domain classical texts, we do not reproduce HKEAA past-paper questions or copyright-protected passages, and each article states this.
3. How answers are checked
- Maths and sciences: numerical answers are recomputed by script and verified with assertions, so answers cannot drift.
- Languages and humanities: answers and marking points are reviewed by tutors against the official marking criteria.
- Multiple choice: every option is compared with the marked answer, and the answer letter is derived by calculation rather than typed by hand.
4. Updates and corrections
When an official framework changes we re-check the framework figures and update the affected pages; every page shows its “last updated” date. If an error is found, we correct it within 7 working days and reflect that in the page date.
5. Scope of responsibility
The content is written and reviewed by the TutorZone teaching team for practice and revision. We do not guarantee any particular exam grade. For tutor matching and fees, see the FAQ and contact us.
