Section B　Reading Comprehension

The Hiking Trail

Class 6A hiked the Tai Mo Shan trail on Friday. The trail is 10.5 km long. The group of 24 students and 2 teachers set off at 8:15 am and reached the end at 11:45 am. They passed 7 checkpoints and stood on the peak at 10:45 am. Section C was the steepest part.

Each person carried 1.5 litres of water in 0.75-litre bottles. The leader asked everyone to carry a whistle so that they could call for help. Everyone took their rubbish home because there were no bins on the trail.

Read the passage and answer the questions.
