1. Register a TutorZone Account

Step 1: Visit the TutorZone website

• Go to www.TutorZone.com.hk and click “Parent Registration”.
• Or download the TutorZone App (iOS/Android) and register directly.

Step 2: Fill in your basic information

• Parent information: name, contact phone number, email (verification required).
• Student information: the child’s grade, subjects for tutoring, learning goals (e.g. DSE preparation, IB curriculum, Mandarin strengthening, etc.).
• Tutor preferences:
• Teaching mode (home tutoring, online teaching, teaching in a public place)
• Tutor gender and qualification requirements (e.g. university student, full-time tutor, graduate of a prestigious school)
• Fee budget (HK$150–$500+ per hour)

Step 3: Complete registration

• The system will send a WhatsApp verification code; click the code link to activate your account.
• Some premium matching services may require uploading proof of identity (to ensure transaction security).

2. Search for a Suitable Tutor

(A) Smart matching recommendations

• The system automatically recommends 3–5 of the most suitable tutors based on your requirements, showing:
• Tutor rating (★4.5+ indicates a quality tutor)
• Teaching experience (e.g. “5 years of DSE Maths tutoring experience”)
• Available teaching times

(B) Manual advanced filtering

• Use the “Filter” to customise your criteria:

Within 24 hours before the first lesson begins, the platform will provide the matched tutor’s contact phone number to the parent/student; at the same time, the parent/student’s contact phone number will also be provided to the matched tutor.

(A) Choose a course plan

• Single trial lesson: suitable for testing the teaching effect in the short term.
• Long-term tutoring plan (fixed monthly hours, suitable for continuous study).

(B) Secure payment

• Pay through the TutorZone platform, supporting:
• Credit card (Visa/Master)
• Faster Payment System (FPS)
• PayMe / AlipayHK
• Payment is released to the tutor only after the lesson, safeguarding teaching quality.

5. Lesson Management & Learning Follow-up

(A) Lesson reminders

• The system automatically sends lesson reminders (Email/SMS) so you don’t forget.
• Parents can sync lessons to Google Calendar / Apple Calendar.

(B) Check learning progress

• Tutors regularly submit learning reports (e.g. test results, analysis of weak areas).
• Parents can check their child’s progress anytime under “My Courses”.

(C) Reschedule or cancel a lesson

• To change the time, notify the tutor at least 24 hours in advance.
• For urgent cancellations, a refund can be requested (per platform policy).
