Marking notes for tutors
- Three sentences are required — one sentence, however long, scores at most 10 of 30.
- Capital letters and full stops — if they are missing throughout, take the marks off Language and write one corrected sentence above the pupil’s work.
- A list is not a sentence — a pupil who writes “rice egg apple” without a verb scores 0 for content.
