Primary English: Listening and Speaking — Tutor Lesson Plan (picture talk, short exchanges)
- 2026-10-28
Listening marks are lost by waiting for the whole sentence. Pupils should guess what they will hear before the recording starts.
Objectives — the student can predict content from the questions, catch keywords and numbers in short exchanges, and describe a picture in three sentences.
01 Prerequisites (3-minute check)
If any of these fails, fix it before the lesson starts.

|---|---|---|
| Vocabulary | Give five action verbs | run, jump, eat, read, write |
| Numbers | Hear the difference in thirteen and thirty | Stress and ending |
| Frames | There is and There are | Singular and plural |

03 Teaching script (read it out)
Scene 1: Predict first, then listen with a target
If the question asks where the boy is, list place words before playback: park, school, library.
Then you only wait for a place word, not the whole sentence.

Answers usually sit on those three word types.
