Primary English: Prepositions of Time and Place — Tutor Lesson Plan
- 2026-10-27
Prepositions look arbitrary but time follows one order: year, month, day, clock, which is in, on, at. Three rings explain both time and place.
Objectives — the student can choose in, on or at for time, use the three for place, and recall ten fixed phrases.
01 Prerequisites (3-minute check)
If any of these fails, fix it before the lesson starts.

|---|---|---|
| Time words | Give a day, a month, a clock time | Monday, July, seven o’clock |
| Place words | Give three position words | in, on, under |
| Sentence frame | The book is ___ the table. | on |
