03 Answers and one-line notes

# Answer One-line note
1 20 × 3 = 60 people. Twenty people per round, so three rounds reach sixty people.
2 Look for an advertisement or sponsored label, and check whether it only praises the product. Advertisements must be labelled, and one-sided praise is also a clue.
3 The 8-digit PIN, which has 10,000 times more combinations. Longer passwords have more combinations and are harder to guess.
4 1,200 ÷ 24 = 50 times. The average rate is the total divided by the number of hours.
5 Find the original source and see who published it first. A message with no traceable source should not be forwarded.
6 Use a reverse image search to see other versions or captions of the same picture. Photos can be edited or mislabelled, so a reverse search helps find the original.
7 All 4 of them should not be posted publicly. These four kinds identify a person, so publishing them carries risk.
8 45 ÷ 180 × 100% = 25%. Permission is needed to use another person work, whatever the share.
9 28 ÷ 168 × 100% ≈ 16.7%. Percentage is part divided by whole times one hundred, and a week has 168 hours.
10 No. Many forwards only show that a message spread widely, not that it is accurate. Forward counts say nothing about accuracy, so verify the message yourself.

04 What to do after marking

  • After marking, redo only the wrong items and write down which step went wrong (formula, unit, or misread number).
  • Repeat the same item two days later; move to the next paper only when both attempts are correct.
  • Parents only need the answer and note columns; there is no need to explain every item.
